Yoga – “Sun salutation” is a brilliantly put together series of 12 asanas (postures) that address all important glands, muscle groups and systems in the body. The sequence has been scientifically proven to improve blood circulation, digestion, respiratory functions and functions of joints. It is important to do these asanas in the given sequence. One set of 12 asanas is considered as 1 sun salutation. The challenge is to start with 12 sun salutations and increase by 3 each day for 7 days.
